There was something I was going to look up when I got online, but now I can't remember and it's making me really pissed because whatever it was, I was excited about it....

Josh started a new job today as an office sales representative. He came home sick. Literally...sick. He's been throwing up since he got home at 5:00. Great new job, eh? I haven't even got to talk to him about how it went. Poor darling.

Maggie got groomed today. I've taken her to the grooming center at PetSmart twice before and I had bad experiences both times. The first time I took her it took like four hours just for a bath and a nail trim. When they finally called me to come pick her up, I knew that she had been locked up in a crate for a long time because the only time she drools is when she is in the crate...which means that she was done before they called me. I decided to give them a second chance, but I should have known better when I walked in the door and Maggie ran the other way. That time they NEVER called me. When I finally called after four hours, they told me that they called and left a message on both my cell phone and Josh's cell phone, which is a complete lie. Even if our phones didn't ring, we would have gotten the message. So anywayyyyyyy, there's a new pet spa right by our apartment and I decided to give it a try. It was so great. Maggie smells like a peach and when I went to pick her up, she was so busy playing with another dog that she didn't even see me for like two minutes. I was really happy. So happy, in fact, that I wish I had another dog to take there. Haha...Josh would die if we had two dogs.

Hmm..what else? Josh wants to move again and that makes me say arrrrggggggahajkldmnfsjnfkjn I really don't want to move. I'm tired of moving. I've moved every summer since I left home. I mean, ok, I don't like living on the third floor, especially with a dog -- and while nothing bad  in particular has happened at this complex, it just kinda feels unsafe..like, I feel nervous going outside at night and our neighbors are always arguing. But still...to pack up all our stuff...we have soooo much stuff, it's just overwhelming to think about.

My dad planted a great garden this year and I'm having so much fun when I go home because I get to pick fresh vegetables out of the garden. It's awesome. I came home with a bunch of tomatoes, cucumber, squash, and pole beans. Today I made tomato, cucumber, and onion salad and it was so fresh and delicious.

Oh, I know! Last week Josh and I went to Maryland to visit my aunt. We drove, which was crazy, but we had a really good time. It's the only vacation that we took this summer -- meaning, it's the only free place we had to stay. We still had fun, though. We ate a lot of crab, went boating, went to DC, rode bikes, and went to Mt. Vernon, too. It was a good trip, but I'm glad to be home. I have another week of nothing to do and then I start school and work again at the same time.

Speaking of work, I found out yesterday that I will be teaching two year olds this year. My boss had asked me previously if I would be interested in working with the two's and I told her that I didn't really care. I would rather teach the three's, but I'm only going to be there for half the year (in the spring I TOSS and can't work), so I can't be too picky. It should be interesting...or disgusting because of all the diapers. I'm looking forward to going back to work, though. I kind of miss chasing little feet around all day.

One semester left of real classes. In the Spring I TOSS and next fall I student teach and then I am D-O-N-E. Josh is graduating this December and soon we'll be grown-ups! Whoo hoo!

I think I am going to sleep on the futon tonight because if Josh has a stomach bug, I really don't want to catch it by sleeping next to him. I feel bad, though, because I know it sucks being sick and I want to take care of him, but I also know that there's not a lot I can do and breathing his air for no reason isn't smart. I'll love him through a closed door, that counts, right?
