this week was ok i guess. real busy. just finished my section of the Highway Project of Doom. now for a powerpoint on Identifying Dyslexia in Middle School Students. in the meantime, i will unwind and update on this long weekend.
Thursday: saw a psycho[logist] for the first time ever. he was real nice. it was interesting. then i was out with my mom at her friend's house & the supermarket until like 11pm.
Friday: Tanned in the morning and went to the psycho again & got evaluated, which took forever. after that, i got home, ate, changed up, & went to see a medley of Wicked, West Side Story, & Chorusline at Classical with Tony. i could tell he was kind of uncomfortable b/c he sprained his ankle on Wednesday and was continually adjusting the brace, but the seats had zero legroom so that was no fun. the Lunia being late thing has officially gotten old. Tony had to leave before the show ended, which kinda sucked, but i saw the end & hung out with The Classicalites afterward. i also ran into my Spanish 4 teacher from last year & had a lovely convo with her & her husband. then i got home & worked on Highway Project of Doom & talked to Tony until like 4am.
Saturday: worked a little on Highway Project of Doom & cleaned up a major part of the mess in my room, so it doesn't look nice, but it looks a lot neater. cleaned stuff around the house too in preparation for my aunt's big 60 celebration. then i got cleaned up, ate, & joined the guests. Carmen, Nena, & Crew left around 2am, so i didn't really have anyone to talk to after that. i finally gave Jon Carlos our prom pics. then i joined my parents with his stepdad & argued about the history of the Catholic church. then the adults went their separate ways & i was eventually left with my glass of wine (that wine sucked! it tasted like vinegar) & two sleeping children on the couches in the living room. Jon's mom got kinda heated before they all headed out b/c she was sick & tired of people being horrible guests at these type of events. her monologue had a rather soap-opera-esque quality & made me seriously wonder if i was dreaming. i was not. they left around 3:30am. then my dad started bugging me so i bugged him back & then my mom told us to go to sleep. so we went our separate ways.
Today: i slept for the most part until 2pm. i did wake up from an interesting dream around 12 though. it started out with a 7th-grade me being in class & getting props from some male teacher about my poetry skills [this is really funny; i definitely had none at that age]. my parents wanted me to stay away from that teacher b/c they got suspicious. then i went to a conference or workshop or something and kinda faded out of the dream. from that point, it followed this lady who was speaking at the conference who, internally, was really depressed & suicidal. also at the workshop/conference was an angel who was assigned the task of watching over this woman.

apparently the woman was a college student living in a dorm, so the angel followed her back after she was done speaking and became her roommate. on the way to the college, the angel thwarted several suicide attempts, and, at the dorm, she threw a nail clipper the woman was trying to kill herself with out the window. the woman called the campus police & then the angel/person ran out down the stairs & then i woke up.
