Holy crap, she may be right!

So, I was having a shitty day today. Mood was all over the place.

I mentioned this to a friend.
Me: "Do you ever get depressed when you have absolutely nothing to be depressed about?"
Aweomse friend: "All the time."
Me: "I'm such a woman, my mood is all over the place. I'll go from being depressed, to feeling NRS, (new relationship syndrome, she also explained that to me today.) which I don't think I should be feeling, as it's been awhile since it was new."
Awesome friend: "Honey, men get periods too. You just don't bleed."

So I thought about it some, and it made sense. A bit later in the day, I was having a fucking anxiety attack becaus I hadn't heard from my girlfriend in 3 hours, and I was thinking she was dead in a god damn ditch or something. She called me, I calmed the fuck down, apologized for being a spaz, and thought back to the conversation with Awesome Friend (TM).

So I shouted "Quick! To the google machine!" to no one in particular (my coworker is out of the office today) and did a search.

This is one of many pages that returned a result for "male period";

Another page I read (might be the same one) sugegsts that women close to a male can also affect them, through pheremones. That's right. Men don't get mopey simply because they don't get laid for 5 days. They get mopey because they're being affected by your estrogen fumes, ladies.

Man, fuck hormones.
