- New Zealand is only 25 % smaller than Germany but has only 4 Million inhabitants whilst Germany has 80 Million!Do u now understand why this country feels like a world to itself?
- Kiwis are the most friendliest people I've ever met..they talk to you simply everywhere..and they even wave at you in small towns like Matamata...if there's one rule to know in NZ: smile and you'll get a bigger smile back!
- NZ traffic lights: THE SOUND..omg...they sound like some space gun..
- NZ looks after its kids: for example in Auckland they have a project called "The Walking Schoolbus" and it is exactly that: instead of buses the kids go from house to house to pick up their mates and then they walk to school, all in a row
- Kiwi style: shorts, flip flops and most important sunglasses: oh or some aren't wearing shoes at all
- New Zealand has the highest suicide rate in the world!?
- the daylight/sun in New Zealand is very bright and without sunglasses it can be quite uncomfortable
- New Zealand produces so much milk (it's not just sheep in NZ but also cows) that if they wouldn't produce chocolate and stuff themselves every person in New Zealand would have 6 Liters Milk a day :-)
- Women in NZ don't pay for things like dinner, tickets, drinks etc and it is absolutly normal that the guys have to pay. I found this very strange but it is a normal thing to them and you get used to it :-)
