The Broke Legacy Family Tree (Take 2)
A few months ago, I tried to make a family tree of the Broke Legacy. Generation Four had just been born (Tim was still a toddler) and therefore the family line wasn't as messy as it is now. It was such an annoying task to make the thumbnails and place them in a Photoshop template. I got confused with so many layers as well, so the final result was a crappy, incomplete family tree.
I've been postponing the unavoidable update of the family tree for a long time. But then, as I was re-reading earlier entries at legacy_writers, I found a link to selzi's tutorial on creating family trees with the help of an amazing little software called Ahnenblatt. Yup, the program is in German, but her tutorial is pretty easy to follow :). She's awesome!
And that's how I finally updated, or better said, I re-started the Broke Legacy family tree. According to Ahnenblatt, there are 91 sims currently registered in the tree, including long lost relatives. The end result was huge, of course, so I cut it in several parts to make it easier to see.
These are very LARGE gif images, so I really hope your PC won't have trouble displaying them in your screen, though I tried to make them as small as possible.
So, let's see the mess this Family has created among the Strangetown characters:
The Direct Descendants of Beau Broke
This is the simplest Family Tree. Here you can see all the family members who are direct descendants of Beau Broke, so they carry his genes. There are no spouses in this tree.
Generations 1 and 2
Here's a more detailed look at the first two generations.
Yup, Brandi Broke's maiden name is Brandi Newbie, for she's the daughter of the tutorial couple from the Sims 1 games, Bob and Betty Newbie.
She married Skip Broke and had Dustin and Beau. When Skip died, she got involved with Don Lothario (story-wise) and she gave birth to David, who was never recognized by Don as his son.
Dustin Broke married his high school sweetheart, Angela Pleasant and had two kids, Sandra and Skip II.
David married Meadow Thayer and had twin girls Colleen and Daisy.
And Beau moved to Strangetown during his teenage years, was abducted by PT 56 and gave birth to Cosmo. He then married Angela's twin Lilith Pleasant and had twins Molly and Icaro with her. When Lilith died, he married his childhood friend Lucy Burb, but had no children with her.
Pleasant Family Tree
In this story, the Broke and Pleasant families merged into one when the Pleasant twins (and later Lucy) married Dustin and Beau.
In the Sims 1 games, the Pleasant family consisted in Jeff, Diane, Daniel and Jennifer.
Daniel married Mary Sue Oldie (adopted daughter of Herb and Oldie Coral) and had Angela and Lilith.
Jennifer married her childhood friend John Burb (aka Johnny Burb from the Unleashed EP from Sims 1 games) and had Lucy.
You can also see that before moving to Strangetown, Lilith married her teenage boyfriend Dirk Dreamer and had Henry, who later became Beau's stepson.
Generations 2 and 3
Here's a closer look at Beau's children and their descendants.
Cosmo married Bella Goth and had four kids: Andrew, Wanda, Tamara and Natalia. He became the Gen 2 Heir.
Molly married Andromeda Curious (alien son of Vidcund Curious, from Strangetown) and had Saturn, Halley and Venus.
Icaro married his teenage girlfriend Kendal Lawson and had Isabel and Michael.
Generations 3 and 4
Here's a closer look at Cosmo Broke's descendants. This is also the point in which the family line becomes a bit complicated.
Let's see Bella Goth's family line, first.
Bella Bachelor lived in Pleasantview. She married Mortimer Goth and had Cassandra and Andrew. When Cassandra was a teen, Bella was abducted by the Graslaxian mothership and spent the next 50 years as their experimental subject.
She then met and fell in love with Cosmo (during his Graslaxian training in his youth), was returned to Sim!Earth and finally married him.
Meanwhile, Cassandra married Darren Dreamer (Grandfather of Beau's stepson Henry) and Alexander married Lucy Burb. Yes, the same Lucy Burb that later married our legacy founder, Beau. Yikes!
Let's continue,
Andrew married Autumn Mayer after college. He had a daughter, Sarah. A couple years later he was abducted by PT 88 and gave birth to half-alien twins Calvin and Hobbes. PT 88 was expelled from the Graslaxian mothership and moved in with Andrew and his family. They fell in love and got married. A couple years later Andrew's youngest daughter, Sixty, was born.
Wanda became the Gen 3 Heiress. She married Puck Summerdream and had three children, Rose Mary, Tim and Cody. We'll revisit them in a little while.
Tamara married Puck Summerdream's adoptive brother, Demetrius Summerdream, and adopted a son, Alvin. She then had a set of triplets, Charles, Elizabeth and Jo.
Finally, Natalia married Candem Amore and had three kids, Lisa and twins John and Evan.
The Broke Legacy's Strange Alien Family Line
Before we continue with Gen 4 and 5, let's see the odd family line behind Puck Summerdream.
Puck's the adopted son of Titania and Oberon Summerdream, from Veronaville. He grew up with his younger sister Bottom (also adopted) and his brother Demetrius (the same who married Natalia).
Later in the story it is discovered that Puck's real parents were Buck Strong (General Buzz Grunt's best friend) and Chloe Curious.
Alien twins Chloe and Lola Curious were conceived when their father, Glam Curious, was abducter by PT 9, who later moved to Strangetown and adopted the Smith last name.
Glam was married to Kitty, and had four kids with her: Pascal, Vidcund, Lazlo and Jenny.
Jenny married PT Smith (her sister's father?!) and had Johnny and Jill.
Pascal was the last human to be abducted by the legendary PT 1 (who retired) and had Sirius (not pictured).
Lazlo married Crystal Vu.
And Vidcund was abducted by PT 14 and had Andromeda, who later married Beau's daughter Molly. His son, Saturn, was later abducted by PT35 and had Mars.
So, in this story, Puck Summerdream is PT Smith's grandson and at the same time he's both nephew and cousin of Johnny and Jill Smith! O_o
WTF, Aliens?!
Generations 4 and 5
Finally, let's take a look at Wanda Broke's descendants.
Rose Mary Broke married her childhood friend Buck Grunt and had two kids (so far): Lyla and Nicholas "Chip".
Tim Broke married his childhood friend Marsha Bruening (who was engaged to his cousin Hobbes) and had two kids: Tom and Edward.
Cody Broke is still a teenager in my game.
Just before Rose Mary's birth, Puck was abducted by PT 14 and had a half-alien daughter, Helena Summerdream. So, according to the previous family tree, Helena is both Andromeda's sister AND his niece. Yeah...
Helena later fell in love with Calvin Broke (Tim, Rosie and Cody's cousin) and later had a daughter, Fantine Broke. She also fell in love with Ripp Grunt (Buck's brother) and had a son, Pippin and a set of triplets, Turin, James and Lyndi. The three live together with their children.

This is gonna be important later in the story, so here's the Grunt Family Family Tree, so far.
