Ace's Story

I know I haven't posted in a while. My excuse? I was going to force myself to play through Ace's side story before I posted anything else. And so here it is... or, rather, a pictorial explanation of why he isn't actually getting one.
Ace spends most of his time concerned with how much money he can make and how many nice things he can afford for his little house downtown.
In spite of the fact that he's near all the hot clubs, he'd rather spend his nights cleaning the house instead of going on dates.
That could be because he hasn't yet met a woman that he hasn't pissed off.
He likes spending his time getting skill points so that he can get promoted and rake in the simoleons.
There aren't even any amusing moments of Fail to get me through the experience.
He gets to work on time, gets paid, and he's happy with that.
I, however, am not, and so I decide that he needs to get a dog. He isn't so sure about that.
This is Spades (thanks for the name, sirensims). I hoped he would make Ace's life more interesting.
He chews on all the furniture.
And he digs up the yard. At first, this looks promising.
Ace: *oblivious to the fact that he has a dog*
Spades: What is my life?
Spades: MAILMAN! MAILMAN, PLEASE SAVE ME FROM THE BOREDOM THAT IS THIS HOUSEHOLD! SAAAAAAAVE ME!
Eventually, Spades grows bitter about what his life has become and starts growling at everyone that walks by, ruining Ace's chances of ever actually meeting a female that likes him.
And this is what everything boils down to... Ace standing around doing jack squat while Spades bitches about whatever is currently making noise in the house.
He only ever gets animated when I buy him stuff he really can't afford. And then immediately rolls the want for more.
And this is why Ace wasn't gen 2 heir. He's just that damn boring, so he gets to stay young and attractive forever because I just can't make myself play him.
Quick question - I've promised my girl some of my Sims, and I was wondering if anyone else would want a few. I have backups of everyone (gen 3 included), so any Sim in the family is up for grabs... just let me know if anyone's interested.
