I have some really terrific friends. There are only a few, but they are great. Friends who understand me; friends who will support me; friends who I know will always be there for me. I have a tendency to find the best in everyone and over time I have that has come back to hurt me. But I think it's worth it. It's worth it, because I have found those few good friends I know I will have forever. Whether they are in Chicago, or Scotland, or right here in DC, it's comforting to have that support network just a call or a few clicks away. Modern technology has made it easier, but it still takes effort. I appreciate all those friends. Those who don't give up on me.
