Laune Legacy - Generation 1.6
Been running around like a chicken missing its head for the last few days, on top of not feeling very well, so I went a while without playing the Legacy at all. I decided today that I missed it, so I started 'er up and played through another few days!

And we begin with Nick sleeping in Hailey's bed. :| Don't ask me why, since he's BEEN sleeping in his own bed not ten or so squares away, but hey, who am I...
Just what I needed; an Abby spawn. D: As you can plainly see by her attire, she seemed to sense that Abby dirtied the sink while washing her plate, and RAN inside from the pool to clean it.
And of course, both Nick and Hailey are starving, and by the time Abby got done cooking autonomously only for herself, the fridge was empty. Sooo...Pizza time!
AHH, Jeffrey Dahmer! Goddamnit, Nick, can't you at least not do that in front of your children!
Not that this is much better. This isn't even remotely scarring, apparently, as far as they're concerned. 8[
She no sooner woke up the next morning, and RAN to the upstairs bathroom to clean the toilet. She even made it a point to go in and turn off her mother's alarm clock beforehand.
D'aww! I just love the animations for "teah how to walk". :D Nick makes such an adorable dad.
WHAT is this child MADE of? D8 I'm afraid!
Wow, that was fast! I never was able to teach Hailey how to walk, but Emily grasped it really quickly!
I...Do not know what happened here. He spontaneously decided to autonomously take her in to give her a bath, but look at her hygiene meter! It was down so little that she literally became fully washed again before he even got her in the tub. She hasn't even touched the water yet in this shot.
And after setting her down to sleep, it's back to skilling for his promotion! He has very little by way of activity points, so he keeps trying to escape his endless bout of exercise, but I refused to let him after a while. He really, really needs that damn promotion! DX
Hailey is clearly not pleased with her C+ average.
The only thing Abby needs to get promoted again is a single charisma point, so she gets to stand upstairs and talk to the mirror.
And after that, it's off to help Hailey with her homework for the very first time. Time to fix up that C+!
Absolutely nothing happened the rest of the night, so it's off with Abby in the morning to attempt for a promotion!
Interactions like this are one of the reasons why I keep toddlers in most of my families with aging off. It's just too cute!

Apparently Hailey is also not feeling the B+ either, even after just TWO DAYS at school.
Woah, that's a long promotion notice! I'm not gonna knock it, though. They need all the money they can get.
LOOK WHO FINALLY DECIDED TO SHOW HIS FACE; himochikouen! He couldn't come to the wedding, or the birthday party - but by God, he can show up randomly in the middle of the night!
Incidentally, I only noticed him out front when I went outside to greet Jenna, TJ, and Tori, who all called to ask if they were still friends with Abby.
I took this shot purely because I find it adorable. Hailey is such a serious Sim, even as a child...She autonomously decided to practice chess with Jenna! And kicked her ass, I might add.
She did, however, make a break for it just after starting their second game, to rush out and hug Nick when he got home from work. Too adorable, really.
Why? Three reasons:
#1. To show off the new adult male athletic wear I downloaded a while ago.
#2. He won't stay in the damn pool for longer than about 1/10 of a body level.
#3. Because I'm a cruel, cruel bitch.
More autonomous chess practicing in pairs! What's going on in this house, seriously?
At least Abby got the one logic point she needed to get promoted at the same time.
Off to work, in attempts for yet another promotion!

Her father is clearly pleased with her; he actually woke up from napping on the couch - after, yes, swimming - to cheer for her.
It wasn't long after that - maybe a couple hours - that it was time to start up Emily's birthday party! I splurged and bought them a little stereo for the occasion, and invited a bunch of friends. Sadly, some were working, but you can see they actually all got into it. I was hoping to make up for the last horribly failed attempt.
Which, incidentally, was in vain.
Here comes the birthday girl...
...And the policia. Son of a biznatch!
Clearly, this child is a bit titched. It couldn't possibly be from the trauma of a horrible birthday party crashed by the cops, or of watching her parents make out on the couch.
Here she is post-makeover, being just as adorable as her sister. I damn near shit myself when they started yet ANOTHER episode of autonomous chess practicing in pairs, and I decided to check out her personality points...
...Which are IDENTICAL to Hailey's.

Off for her first day of school, and since her sister was using the other stairs, she headed for the outdoor spiral stairs. Finally I get to showcase Marvine's marvelous work on her Pack Of FULLY ANIMATED Spiral Stairs!

Aww, now poor Emily isn't digging her C+ grade...
Yes, this promotion notice was so long, it didn't fit on my netbook's screen. 8| All that's missing is her new hours and salary though, so it's not a big deal...I just had to wait for it to fade away on its own, since I couldn't get to the button.
I finally found the secret to getting Nick to STAY in the pool! He jumped in autonomously as soon as the girls jumped in after school. :'D
Thank you, girls, for getting him that contemptible body point!
We now interrupt this brief moment of triumph for this endless moment of failure. >:S
Randomly, Hailey woke up around midnight and headed in to use the upstairs toilet, which she clogged. She then got cleaned up in the upstairs shower, which she busted. Nick got back immediately thereafter, and was put to work repairing the whole mess. It took him three of four attempts on the shower, but he eventually got it, and gained a mechanical point afterwards while he was working on the toilet.
Um...Yay?
In the end though, Hailey's apparent OCD got the better of her, and she came flying back upstairs after playing through a practice game of chess, to help him clean up.
That's it for this update! Sadly, nothing much happened, but for some reason everything just seemed to be going really slowly. Hopefully next time Hailey will finally reach her teenage years. There has to be a second generation someday!
