Well lucky me, I got caught in the ttc strike. I was heading back from eglinton station down to yonge, then across to pape. And I didn't even know they were striking! It took me at least two hours of walking approximately 7km in the early morning. And finally getting back here with my feet aching. Having to walk in dress shoes didn't help the matter.
Why didn't they just go on strike right after the subway closed! It would have made sense to do it then and avoid getting more people against them. I've no sympathy for ttc after this. I'm going to get my bicycle tuned up for the coming days where ttc holds us ransom.
