Home Made Tractor

Last fall I was looking over some old tractors for some parts when I saw a Ford Model A radiator sticking out of a clump of multiflora rose. Upon looking closer it was attached to a home made tractor that used a Model A engine and transmission along with an second transmisson and what looks like a Model TT truck rear end. This is the picture I took last fall:

I went there yesterday and there are still old tractors sitting up there for possible sale and this little guy was still in weeds. After a bit of bargaining, I got it for $200. Either tomorrow or Wednesday I will be going back to start hacking it out of the brush. The engine is stuck and has been since they got the tractor years ago. Might be salvagable, Model A engines have a way of surprising you with their durability. Already have a Model A parts catalog on the way from a store that specializes in Model A and Model T stuff right here in Ohio. After seeing guys I know rebuild Speedex Model FG tractors from just the rear ends, this shouldn't be too hard. Seems the Model A engines are plentiful right now.
