In Berke Brandywine's sophomore year of college at Pinewalk University of the Arts, he got inducted into the Secret Society. He also got to check out a hobby lot with his fiancee, Ivy Copur.
Of course, getting inducted into the Secret Society is never as glamorous as it might seem, what with being hauled off in handcuffs by a goon in a llama jacket.
He was greeted at the Secret Society lot by Rebecca Larrea, whom he had met through his mom, Aurora, and a guy with a red pageboy haircut.
Then, things got even more interesting. Berke threw a party and invited old friend Susie Seifert, the good witch. Another friend (and fellow Secret Society member), Dagmar, asked if she could invite a friend... and brought the evil witch! The evil witch, ironically, came clad in a green puffy jacket to match her skin. Susie is the one in the red sweater with the red French braid, the hairstyle she wears when not wearing her witch hat. Somehow, the two -- who are enemies -- kept from getting into a fight, possibly because Susie was distracted by chatting with frat member and Berke BFF, Randy London.
In the blue puffy jacket is Debbie Olshfski, invited by Berke to stay for three days, so that she could get to know his younger brothers, Byron and Barrett, also invited. A nice, outgoing person with similar interests to both of them, she seemed like a good match for either of them, actually.
Byron, the heir, spent so much time swimming in the pool, despite the cold, that he came into dinner with his skin blue! Perhaps because the Brandywine family is so active, though, he didn't seem particularly uncomfortable and didn't even catch a cold. Here he is, talking to his future sister-in-law about his desire to grow up into a young adult.
Ivy, meanwhile, had spent so much time on her hobby of choice, Science, that she gained admission to the Science secret lot. She brought Berke with her, and he made some medicine, just in case brother Byron took ill after all.
Ivy used the medical simulator to test out her skills, giving a dummy lifesaving CPR.
Randy, meanwhile, built his relationship with Susie, first going out with her for a friendly outing to a local restaurant. She loved to talk about food.
Then he took her to the Film & Literature special lot, where he took a chance and slipped an arm around her shoulder while sitting on the couch. She leaned into him. He wouldn't remain in the friend zone for long.
