Goodbye and thank you
Hey Simspiration friends.
So this is a post I admittedly should have written three months ago. I apologize that it's taken this long. Life happens to everyone, and sometimes it happens so much that you turn around and suddenly wonder where the time went.
We as mods are officially retiring the Simspiration community. We've all had a lot of fun with it over the years and it's been amazing to see all the writing that happened because of the prompts and seasonal games. As activity in the Sims community seems to have slowed and many players moved on or switched to different platforms like Tumblr, we're putting the LJ comm to bed. Thank you to everyone who's contributed and we hope that those of you who are still writing (whether it's for Sims or in other formats) will continue to do so for a long time to come.
And we would like to belatedly congratulate the eight Simmers who completed the Myshuno! challenge (katrisims, mlek13, esmeiolanthe, mzyra, silverbelle1220, celebkiriedhel, lauriempress, and strange_tomato), as well as the two who went on to complete blackout (esmeiolanthe and lauriempress)! Thanks for participating!
