“Sam…are you going to update my story anytime soon?”
“Wheeeee!”
“What about that pep talk you’re supposed to give?”
“I can’t hear you! Wheee!”

I’m definitely a night-before-the-deadline kind of girl, the one who leaves a lot to the last minute. I always have been, so I was a tad worried about how I can inspire people to carry on working.
But then I remembered something one of my tutors taught me back when I was panicking about my essays - look how much progress you’ve made already! Look at how far you’ve come! And though this was being promoted over my academics, the same applies to our stories.
We’ve all come so far already, during CreMo or beyond. We’ve taken a game, and turned our experiences with it into something other people can enjoy, and that’s pretty impressive, if you ask me. Whether you’ve staged everything and taken great care to make it beautiful, or whether you’ve captured amusing moments from your gameplay, you’ve got someone’s interest.
You’ve done so well! Whether you’ve planned out a generation’s worth of plot, or set up an entire neighbourhood with a theme, or played a family for three generations, whatever it is you do, you’ve accomplished something! And if that doesn’t inspire you to want to accomplish MORE things, I don’t know what will.
So whether you leave it to the last minute or get everything done with time to spare, you’ve accomplished something, and you’re going to accomplish more things!
You can do it!
