Wanted: Your Input

Sim_Scenes is coming towards the end of our second year as a Livejournal community.  With our anniversary on the horizon it's a good time to reflect on our status and to make changes in the way we do things.  As always, orikes13 and I are open to suggestions and comments.  We've noticed that challenge responses have fallen off and we'd like input into

Maybe you could try doing the challenge every two weeks for a while and see how it goes??

I know the idea is not to do every single challenge and they don't have to be complicated either, so in theory a week is more than enough time, however practically, between RL, and other sim projects or hobbies, a week isn't all that much.

I used to enjoyed doing these a lot, but during the last year, I've been loading the game less and less, so even when I feel inspired to try, between planning the scene and actually sitting down to take the shots, it's already so close to the due date, I never get them done on time.

Also, maybe you guys could try changing the challenge format from time to time (I mean, not every challenge, but one every few weeks/months or so). For example, you could give one thematic prompt and leave it open to interpretation; or give more prompts for people to choose from; or make a challenge in which we are allowed to use more screens per scene, or make it even harder with less caps. etc.

I'm just trowing ides here. I really like this comm and the sim-scenes are really fun to do and watch, buy think that a little change may help to spice things up. :)
