Winter formal, work and Study?

Last friday UNDA had its first winter formal.... and I have to say it was a damn awesome night, eveyone was dressed up all formal like, the men with their black tie and a suit to back it up with, and the women had their formal type dresses, which makes me wonder if women have any feeling at all in their backs, I was rugged up fairly good and proper, but some of the women were wearing not so much.. and it was the beginning of the cold snap shower night.
The night began with mass on campus which was great, though the angels at the front of the church freaked me out a bit, they kind of stand either side of the alter area and i swear to you that for a glimpse they looked like Jedi's along with light sabers (turned out to be candles )and everything.
This lead to a general pre-dinner meeting up for cakes and drinks, with magicians and fire tossers. It was fun to see everyone all dressed up, and well to be dressed up, because it always makes me look the fool.
Dinner was across the road at uner's not hooter's which to my amasement was what I sure my Lecture said, he was quick to correct me. Dinner was great all the foods I love... potato.. chicken... beer... im sure there was more but I was content. After food it was time to get down and dancing, not that I could stay much longer for I had to get up at the wee hour of 6am to start work.

Yeah work, I get a message at 5:50am saying no work today for it was too wet, I went back to sleep poor... but happy!!

Study has been slow but progress is coming along.. I met up with Alex for study on Monday which led to the movies *sigh* "Take the lead" is ok but I'd rather have learned more about the board of studies website.. I'll get there.
Today was more of a help Alex and Dan finish their Academic writing task rather then study, I've completed mine so I was ok with helping them, Alex was about the United nations, I have to say I couldnt help too much I didnt know enough about the inner workings of it.
Mines more about "Human life has been devalued to the extent that murder on the battlefield is meaningless because the intrinsic worth of people has become relative, and that we have become deadly efficient with the use of weapon technology to the extent"
It was an interesting subject.. I hope it scores well it's worth a whopping 100% of the course.

Thanks
