Kevin's cat breeding business was growing - he'd raised and trained several kittens and had brisk sales. Since his Dad's death, however, he realized that something indeed was missing from his life.
More and more he realized that something was Christina. Unbelievably, Jacob had been right all along - Kevin was madly in love and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
So he took her to dinner one night at her favorite restaurant, and just before dessert came - he popped the question. Christina was stunned, happily so, and accepted.
Kevin knew Christina was saving all her money for the space pirate business, so their wedding was a small, informal affair at Kevin's house.
Just a few guests came, Christina's sister and niece and a few of Kevin's friends. Still, they made sure to have all the traditional wedding events.
Christina danced with her niece, Alexandra - who was growing like a weed. The couple didn't take time for a honeymoon though - both had too much to do!
