Fingolfin's youngest son, Arakáno, is described as being the most impulsive of the brothers in 'Peoples of Middle-earth', but Fingon sure set him a good example to follow.
To me, Fingon is somewhat of a mystery. I cannot quite figure him out. Surprising that Balrogs seemed to have been the inventors of the underwear called thongs. I meant to ask you before, are you posting these histories anywhere other than Livejournal where one could find them together, all in one place? I do believe that Dawn sent out an email recently about somehow archiving them in one Silmarillion-based website but I cannot find that email at the moment.
Fingon is one of my favourite characters, and I've been writing a lot about him recently, but you're right - his behaviour can be rather contradictory.

LOL!
I haven't posted them anywhere else, but I think Dawn is going to put them on the yahoo group sometime. They are also all in their own category in my LJ memories.

I figure that our eventual archive will have all of our character research in one place. (With the permission of the creators of said research, of course. *smiles sweetly at fanged_geranium*)
Also, I have also thought of putting it on our Yahoo! group in .pdf files, but since I would probably finish this *after* finishing the website, it seems rather pointless....
In the meantime, all of the character research on LJ may be found under the "character research" tag. Not all are there, yet, as you all write faster than I can tag! ;) That is not a complaint, btw :)
