Texas Pledge of Allegiance...?

Today was scary. In a good way.

I went to the guidance counseler's office to get my schedule, and even though I said that I could find my classes myself (the entire school is only, like, five buildings), she INSISTED on walking me all over the place. So everyone stared at me because she'd grab my arm everytime she said something.

School starts at eight-thirty here (OMG I SLEPT!), so I was all disoriented and panicky because I felt like I was late. I sat down at the bus loop by myself for thirty minutes because I sure as heck wasn't going back to the guidance counseler's office.

We have block scheduling here, so I have A Days and B Days. Today was an A Day, so I had English, Theater Productions, Choir, and Spanish 2. Everyone in my classes is in either tenth or eleventh grade, so it's kind of scary.

So, English: Was TOTALLY FREAKING AWESOME (except for when we had to do the Texas Pledge of Allegiance, because I didn't know how)! It's a lot like Drama, only without acting. We're watching the Taming of the Shrew, and there's this dude who's chasing this girl all over her house and they're breaking stuff and climbing walls and all "GET'ST THOU AWAY!11" It was so funny.

Theater: Was cool too. Everyone was all "OMG HI YOU'RE MY FRIEND NOW!" And I didn't know where to sit, so this really cute guy from my English class told me to sit by him. That was short lived, though, because these two girls, Ebony and Charlotte, dragged me off so we could do a scene from Dearly Departed together. It's this hilarious play about "white trash", as my teacher called it, and I have to say "MY HUSBAND DID IT WITH THAT DOG IN THE K-MART PARKING LOT?!" How am I supposed to say that?! It sounds wrong!

Long story short, my group had to go out into the hallway because everyone would laugh when I said that.

Choir: Was weird. This girl came up to me the second I walked in the door and was all, "Are you new? You're new, right? Yeah, you're new, Josh ((I have no idea who Josh is)) told me you were new, OH MY GOSH I LOVE YOU!!!" So I was like, "Um... thanks...?" Then she left O_o

I sat by myself in Choir because everyone kept trying to persuade me to sit with them at lunch. "SIT WITH US NOT THEM THEY'RE ALIENS WHO WILL EAT YOUR BRAIN WITH SAUERKRAUT!!" and stuff like that. It made me really nervous that people were fighting over me and I kept thinking about Kyle, the guy in my Drama class, for whatever reason, and it made me feel icky.

ANYWAY. I need to find out if I sing (aka, screech) soprano, alto, or tenor. There seems to be a three-way rivalry between them, and I don't know where I am in that. I wonder if they have a group for bad singers...

Spanish: Was... a strange experience. I have three of the sweetest guys just tripping over themselves to help me catch up with the class. Isn't that weird? I don't even know how to tell them that I can figure it out for myself. What should I do?

The teacher was weird. She kept saying she wanted to kiss a bunch of guys in the class and that Tom Cruise is her (ahem) boyfriend in Spanish.

Bus Ride: Was painful. The roads are really bumpy, and I kept bouncing off the seat, so my neck and arms hurt really badly. The people were nice, though. The intermediate school kids(advanced elementary) ride the bus with the high school kids, which is weird, but you don't get picked on as often when everyone around you is either (a) aggressively friendly, or (b) three feet tall. There was this guy there who was really nice. He kept asking about beaches, because he said that he hasn't seen one in three years. It was sort of weird when my hair got caught on my backpack (I'm suave, aren't I?) and I had to untangle it, then he was like, "Is your hair naturally curly?" I said it was, and he said, "Oh. It's pretty." I thanked him, but I know he was lying, because my hair was a giant frizzball after I got it off my backpack xD

OH. MY GOSH. I was about to say I had to get off the computer to do my homework, but tomorrow is a B Day, so I have two days to do my homework! *does a dance*

This school would be perfect if you guys were here. COME TO TEXAS, THE SCHOOL SYSTEM IS FINE!

... Seriously. If you hate IB, which they don't have here, come to Texas. Come here even if you like IB. Because I love you guys.

Time to watch Zathura (which I got for my birthday, along with forty-five dollars in WalMart gift cards). Goodbye!

(Sorry that all my entries have been incoherent lately. I'm just a little disoriented.)
