VH1's Best Week Ever - aka my weekend
Seriously one of the best weekends ever, yet also one of the saddest...
Went to LA with my boy toy and our british cunt, Sarah. Sadly, only me and Ry returned to SB because Sarah took a plane back to Londontown yesterday. So fucking sad. But I'll be seeing her again in a few weeks! Yay!
LA was tons of fun.... went clubbing on Saturday (Bang) and Sunday (Rage). Saw Jeff DJ on Saturday, so much fun! Wish I could have seen you more, Jeff, but alas. Better luck next time! It was super nice meeting all of Ry's friends, they're so freaking insane. I cannot WAIT for him to meet my friends and family. Fun will be had by all! (Hey, all my besties: Las Vegas in October still?)
Ryan's house is a damned mansion... ALL custom-made stuff. It is unbelievable. Of course, it didn't used to look like this, but now that the kids are out and the rents have retired, it looks amazing. I cannot wait to have a custom-made house from top to bottom. I loved just sitting on their back porch, reading, and just feeling so damn happy.
It's always weird going to see your boyfriend's hometown, but it was so comforting to know that I felt... maybe at home there? His parents are so friendly and welcoming, his friends are crazy like mine, and LA is close to his place, but his home is in the foothills, so it's away from all the craziness. It's just a nice feeling of satisfaction knowing that I had fun and it only made me realize how lucky I am to be where I am in my life. And lucky to have a boyfriend who is complimentary and contradictory to me at the same time. But in the end, we balance each other out so well and can be one second madly passionate and the next just sitting watching hours of TV. And in both circumstances, I feel more love inside of me than I've felt in a long time.
After work (whenever the HELL THAT IS, I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE - JK, I love work, its so flippin laid back), I am sitting Ryan down and we are starting on Episode 1 (out of 144) of my favorite show of all time, Buffy. I've enjoyably sat thru all of Queer as Folk up to the present, and am almost done with Arrested Development, so it is only fitting that we begin Buffy. You don't even know how exciting this is to show my man the show that made me die inside every week for 7 years. I'm so excited! Let's take bets on when we'll actually finish it all, haha. Queer as Folk took us from end of March to this Sunday.
All in all, tons of fun had by all. I leave for England on the 22nd, ahhhh!!
