Those Hard-Faced Queens of Misadventure by lit_chick08 {TVD - Klaus/Caroline, Klaus/Rebekah}
(2,171 words) Through 3x11 'Our Town'. Great Klaus characterization. I loved the Klaus and Rebekah backstory. "Loneliness is a powerful emotion." warning: incestuous overtones
What Loneliness More Lonely by Agnes_Bean {Revenge - Nolan/Emily}
(7,580 words) "Emily Thorne trusts no one, but Nolan Ross just can't give up on her, no matter how hard he tries." Finale speculation and a satisfying ending.
Strong Interactions by Speranza {Luther - Luther/Alice}
(3,128 words) In which Luther finally follows Alice after Season 2. This is glorious. I love the character work. Alice is just perfect perfect perfect.
Standing Waves by butterflykiki {Doctor Who - Rory; Amy/Rory}
(7,000 words) The world and story of 6.13 ‘The Wedding of River Song’, retold through Agent Rory Williams’ eyes. The timey-whimeyness of it is SO HOT. "Williams was recruited into the Service because he could remember things that hadn’t happened yet, and things that were never going to happen. That was the test, really; if you ever noticed things around you were off, or had that moment of dislocation when the past snapped into place for you, after you’d just met someone you’d known your whole life."
the splinter in my fingertip by VegaOfTheLyre {The Addams Family - Morticia/Gomez Addams}
(1,680 words) I did not know I wanted this. "When Gomez and Morticia meet for the first time she is nineteen and he is twenty-six; she has just returned home from finishing school in Romania, and he has come to the Frump house for a family lunch with his fiancée, her older sister."
Miss de Bourgh in Bath {Pride and Prejudice - Anne de Bourgh; Anne/OMC}
(124,000 words) "After Mr. Darcy takes the thoroughly unsuitable Miss Bennet to be his wife, a most seriously displeased Lady Catherine and her daughter repair to Bath. What adventures await Anne in the exciting spa city?" I usually run the other way at top speed when there are OFC or OMC main characters but this was a major exception for me. A well-written sequel to "Pride & Prejudice", in which Anne struggles with class issues and against her mother's control. And, of course, finds friendship & true love. Very enjoyable for Austen fans such as myself.
