Are we supposed to feel tension in that whole Cassie/Adam/Diana thing, then? Because Adam was clearly crushing hard on Cassie pretty much the first second he saw her. The honorable thing to do would be to break up with Diana, who he just seems vaguely affectionate toward - are they supposed to be deeply in love? So didn't get that, huh.

Gale was fantastic, and I really like Adam so far.

I thought that Faye and Diana had chemistry, actually. I would totally ship them. Especially if they cling to each other in the rain some more.

aha! You'd THINK THAT. But (at least in the books) noooo, they have to draw it out & make it the series pivot. Irregardless of whether or not Adam and Diana are passionately in love with each other in a sexy way, he's Diana's boyfriend! So clearly he can't just... break up with his high school girlfriend because he loves someone else. THAT WOULD BE CRAZY.

I think my lingering distaste for Diana from the book series clouded my judgment on this matter. If they make her more interesting then I could totally get behind some (wet) ( ... )

...okay, then. That's... that's just people making their lives harder for themselves. Silly people. Goodness. Doesn't Diana deserve to be loved, rather than just stayed with out of obligation and habit?

Diana was definitely her most interesting when she was with Faye.

Seriously! People just making things hard for themselves!

Here's a quote from an interview with the guy who plays Adam.
On the choice between Diana and Cassie: "Diana's the relationship he's had for years, so his loyalty lies there, but this impossible, visceral attraction lies with Cassie. It's a big inner struggle for my character, it's one of the biggest in the series, grappling with which way he's going to go."

ONE OF THE BIGGEST IN THE SERIES. hahaha, this fucking triangle. *facepalm* I think I'm just going to enjoy the silliness!

Passionless loyalty vs an instant powerful connection with someone. OH NO! SO HARD TO PICK.
