I really, REALLY like it when Danny occasionally calls Steve "Steven". I DO NOT KNOW WHY I LIKE THIS SO MUCH. but I do! It feels like this boyfriend-y thing to do. or something. I DON'T EVEN KNOW

I love their little names for each other. They call each other "babe" and "baby" too, which you know is meant to not necessarily come across as boyfriendy, but IT DOES.

And, yes, the "Steven" delights me in more ways than one.

Maybe this just means I'm old, but babe and baby always comes across as couple-y to me (unless it's The Wire).

Or perhaps that's just because it's, like, the NAME one of my friends has for his wife. I swear, "babe" is all he ever calls her. I worry sometimes that he's forgotten the real one. I don't remember the real one!

At first it was pretty one-sided, like Danny would be the only one using the name, but then Steve started doing it to as of a couple episodes ago.

I just wonder if anyone is paying attention on this show to how THAT could be perceived - then again, they've already labelled it a bromance.
