So, I've been going through my epic tape collection... which someday I will burn to CD, goddamnit, and wondering how obscure my tastes actually are.
For the goths & rivet heads in the house, a random sampling -- sound familiar?

edit: uh, that's Skeleton Kiss by Christian Death. obviously.
edit 2: you know who I really loved? Element! They were from Fountain Valley, CA and only put out 1 EP in 1995, and mostly just hung around Paris & John Koviak and name-checked Praise of Folly of all fucking bands (k, true confessions, I have one of their EPs too, but. you know, I also have 2 from Stone 588 so that doesn't say much), but seriously I must have listened to that tape a hundred times.
edit 3: John Koviak's band Subversion was really fucking terrible, riiiight?
