(no subject)
Have not updated in just about forever, because I have nothing to say. Again my life has been flooded by work. I am fairly sure that I will look back to my 20's and see nothing but a vast blur of pouring over Amazon bought management textbooks, long work hours, and endless meetings with me hanging on the sidelines and frantically trying to prove myself. On top of my regular middle management nowhere job duties, I've taken on a 6 month Six Sigma course composed of 84 hours of classroom instruction and 2 major process rehaul projects. Clearly I'm trying to kill myself.
I turned 26 in December, and have now been single for over 2 years. (Though the infamous First Highschool Girlfriend has reentered the stage, and is lingering on the edges of my life in a way that lately seems all too inevitable.)
Haven't produced anything fandom related in too long to even keep track of - though I'm still reading a lot of fic whenever I have the time. The fandom of choice is still SGA (I check the Noticeboard every day), though I've been watching and rewatching the first 2 seasons of The West Wing in a decidely obsessive manner. And yeah, Criminal Minds is damn good stuff. Still watching every episode of Veronica Mars -- and, oh man oh man, devouring any Lamb/Veronica fic that comes my way. That's my new het pair of the year.
John/Rodney, Rodney/Ronon, Catherine/Warrick, Sam/Josh, Reid/Derek, and Lamb/Veronica...
Hopefully I'll start vidding again, or ficcing again, or anything again. But first I need some damned peace of mind.
