Hey people, how's LJ behaving? Shall we make this post happen? I apologise for being out of touch lately, I've read what I could but I have a very low tolerance approach to misbehaving websites. :P
I'm home home at the moment, with a sore throat on top of that. It's quite funny how English keeps slipping into my Italian when I'm talking; it's not going to last obviously, but it prompted thoughts. Thoughts about citizenship. Hehe.
Basically, in five years (well, more like four and a bit now) I am positive I will want to take the test and apply for British naturalisation. It costs an indescribable amount of money, but it is so so worth it - imho, obviously. :)
And yet... the constant appearance of e-mails from my module tutors reminded me that I should start doing some work. I have a grand total of 7500 words to write over four modules and they'll are due by the middle of May.
Fun.
One of the essays I'm still torn whether I should go for the experimental route (i.e. try writing about something I know only a little bit about) or for what I know best, Renaissance Drama in this case. I mean, Melodrama would be tons of fun, but the research alone would take up precious time that could be spent actually writing stuff.
