*squishes* yay I've missed you too!
Happy new year! And HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!(wow I'm behind too).

I'm unfortunately in the same boat with the laziness; I think it's a college student thing, lol. It does tend to make social networking difficult though. haha. I hope everything else is going well and good luck with that course work! <3

I needed a Team!TARDIS right now, thanks! :)

So behind we're forward actually. I don't really like the number 23, it doesn't go well with my clothes. But hey, 24 is next, let's plan that! :D

Lazy lazy lazy times. The few days I flew back home I was even lazier (that's a word... right?), but I solemnly swear I am upping my game here. No more black-outs!

Haha since I was young I've always preferred to be an even age...*shrug* idek!

Then again, now I'm 22 I'm feeling a bit strange about being past the 21 mark hmmm. lol as you can imagine, it's very distressing ;)

No more black-outs!
Will hold you to it! hehe <3

I... *pauses to think* Actually, maybe my problem are prime numbers (11, 13, 17, 19, 23) because those are the ages I was never really fond of.

Have people started calling you a 'little lady' or something like that? My friends all gave me a speech on my birthday about how I am all grown-up now (apparently in everyone's mind 23 is the mark) and I should stop fooling around and being a semi-teenager. Or something along those lines.

Distressing indeed.

Aha, I wasn't very fond of those ages either..(well, haven't been 23 yet but...you know)

I wasn't quite given a speech (odd, I didn't know 23 was the mark) but now that I'm about to graduate, I'm feeling that pressure...particularly from my mom. My older sister took a year off, and now she wants me to go straight to grad school! I'm no more certain what I want to do than I was freshman year, but hey it's never really as bad is it seems, right?

Yeah, I expected that everyone would be all, no no 21 is the mark and you're past that so you is old. But then no, turns out, 23 scares the hell out of people.

When guessing my age they either go '18?' or '26?' O_o

Never. Until last month I was certain what I wanted to do was teach, but then someone asked me 'you love books. Have you ever considered a career in publishing?' As in, editing books and all that lot. And now... now it sounds like something I'd like to do.

I think 'confusion' should be part of the requirements for grad school.

alas, one year left of my youth then? lol.

You know publishing is something I've been considering too. I've been thinking about it lately because I love reading and writing, but I think I'm better at editing...

Still, my interests are all over the place and I'm so indecisive. One day I want to get an mfa in creative writing, the next I want to get involved in music or theatre. With all of this, my back up plan is psychology since that's the degree I'll hopefully have soon. What field? I'm not sure. *sigh*

I'd know exactly what to put in my personal statement then! :)

Ahahahah! No, no, no, no. Several years left of youth. I am not ready to feel old.

Publishing now sounds so so interesting, but as with everything else I've been looking at, I feel so inadequate because English is not my mother language. I mean, even if I have reached the point where I force myself to speak Italian to my family (my sister hates when I lapse back into English), editing is out of the question.

Maybe marketing though. I'd like to market the 'new Harry Potter'.

One day I want to get an mfa in creative writing, the next I want to get involved in music or theatre. With all of this, my back up plan is psychology since that's the degree I'll hopefully have soon.

1- MFA? Master... Faculty... Arts? Close?
2- get involved with theatre on a small scale because it will eat your time away. Literally.
3- my flatmate's studying psychology and I make her repeat her lectures to me because I long to study the subject.
Tu sum it up. You are my lost sister: you edit, I'll market, deal?

Awww well I totally admire you for that, it's amazing to be fluent in another language and I think it's taken for granted too often.

1. master of fine arts degree in grad school, haha. Sorry, that's my fail American presumptuousness *facepalm*.
2. Yeah, I can imagine. I have it as my minor focus, and I had one tech class last year that took up all of my free time. I love it though!
3. I think it's fascinating, but idk if I really want be involved in it long term. Or if I am good enough to :/.

Yes you are why do you think I stalk you so?! hehe. Sounds good to me :D
