I have to ask, how do you cook your pasta? Do you use table-salt to salt the water before you put the pasta in? You cook pasta in saltwater? I've never done that. But yeah, at least here (in the US), you can get larger sizes of salt, usually seen as like sea salt or kosher salt it most supermarket.
(and what do you people have against one single tap instead of one for hot and one for cold? I'm baffled) Meaning you are used to one handle and there are two, or two and you are used to one? I grew up with the two handles and now have the one handle variety and like the two handles ones better. Back home, it was like a complete rotation on the hot handle, and then about 1/4 rotation on the cold handle was about right. And then I varied the cold to suit for temp.
With the funny British plug! It looks so cute, and I can never take it home because it wouldn't work! Yes, the British plugs are funny :) Although since they have the same power spec in Italy, all you would really have to do is get one of those plug adapters for it. But that would ruin the cuteness of it :(
