My family just left for Milano, where they are departing tonight. Destination: Nairobi, Kenya. They won't be here for the Easter hols and I won't be able to hear from them because, apparently, there's no network coverage down there. They'll be travelling via jeeps once they get there and make the most out of their safari around a lake called Baringo, if I'm not mistaken.
*sighs* It'll be lonely. But at least I'll probably get down to business with my dissertation and all the e-mails hanging around in my inbox (
indreams88, I'm talking to you)! I'm going to do the shopping later, because I can buy all the sweet stuff they can't eat at last!
Milka and Nutella are first on the list! And Pepsi, and Coca-Cola, and chips, but above all... meat! Since my sister became a vegetarian, it has disappeared off the menu (and I've been covertly eating some in Padova).
I have to watch two films as drama club homework: The Company of Wolves, where Angela Lansbury plays Granny! How can I even compare to her Granny?! And Howl's Moving Castle, because the not-really old woman in there is supposed to be of inspirational value to me. Our director said that she's old, but beautiful and young inside and that's how I should play Granny in our play. Mmm...
