Oxfam, life
I had my first day at Oxfam today. Well, afternoon. It was really good. It wasn't boring, and the people there were lovely and very grateful to have me. I'm now working Saturday afternoon's and an hour Thursday evenings after school.
I feel happy being busy. I generally do, but even more so lately. Maybe it's because I was so un-busy last year, I'm just making the most of my drive and determination this year? I think maybe I'm scared of slowing down. I used to be such a nostalgic person, pondering on the past and making sure I constantly improved myself as a person. But lately I find i'm too scared to look back properly at the past, and I'm too scared to slow down in case it all catches up.
