Ohmygosh I'd forgotten how AMAZING it was! I just watched it on iplayer (having stupidly missed the BBC1 airing) and it was STILL absolutely FANTASTIC!! Sitting there in the Albert Hall I remember being absolutely breathtaking; most of the music had a slight variation to it, and in that big hall with everyone, oh my gosh... just, wow. It was the first time in 6 months i'd actually been truly happy, just from listening to that music.
I loved the opening of the Doctor's Theme; that music is just so haunting. I adore it. And Melanie Pappenheim did it beautifully as always. (I talked to her afterwards and couldn't stop squeeing XD)
Rose's Theme was perfect, and possibly even more gentle and beautiful than usual, if that's possible. Doomsday was tragically beautiful, and I loved it as much as always.
I was surprised by how much I love Gallifrey; it was MAGNIFICENT. Wow. Murry Gold really is amazing.
The Song of Freedom made me cry, I remember. It was only the second time I heard it, and honestly, the vibe in that hall was out of this world. Especially when everyone started clapping; it was like the Earth really HAD returned home, such was the power of that music.
Freema was a bit too grinny for my liking, but then I never really like her at all. She has got more confident though. And Martha has got more bearable.
CATHERINE TATE!! I remember when she walked in and we all just SCREAMED! I nearly fell out of my seat I was grinning and clapping so much XD I love her. And I love Donna almost as much as I love Rose. They are just so awesome.
The Music of the Spheres... why RTD I think you almost out-gayed yourself. I love my silly, camp, moralistic show. It was funny though. Even my parents laughed.
I LOVE THIS MUSIC XD
