My cultural ambitions and how I will be accomplished in the eyes of Mr. Darcy
These are the things that I would like to have achieved by the time I am 30, which I hope will make me cultured and educated, and accomplished in a Mr. Darcy sort of way (LMAO Rach XD)
♥ Be fluent in French
♥ Be pretty fluent in Italian
♥ Have reached Gold level Ballroom dancing
♥ Have reached Grade 8 piano, and am able to play pieces of classical music well
♥ Have seen at least 10 different ballets, and have been to the ballet at least 15 times (seeing as ballet has become my yearly birthday present, this shouldn't be too hard.)
♥ Have been to the opera several times
♥ Have read over 500 more books, including 100 classics
♥ Be able to speak conversational German, or to maintain and improve the standard I am at now
♥ To be able to sing. Well.
♥ To have developed both my ideas for novels, hopefully into novels
♥ To improve my photography, and have pictures I am particularly proud of hanging up
♥ To have visited at least 5 art galleries in different countries
♥ To have visited all of the Italian cities featured in Stravaganza, most of the European countries, each continent at least 3 times, Russia, Brazil - the Amazon rainforest and toured America.
So far I:
♥ Am studying at AS level French, and can speak conversationally
♥ Can speak a teeny tiny bit of Italian
♥ Dance at Silver level
♥ Play piano at Grade 5 level
♥ Have seen The Nutcracker Suite and Swan Lake
♥ Have never been to the opera
♥ Have read... probably around a couple of hundred books since I properly started reading, and that was about 6 or 7 years ago. About 5 of them are classics.
♥ Am slightly less than GCSE level German
♥ When I practice I sing beautifully apparently. But I don't practice, because my family laugh...
♥ I write a lot of fic
♥ I've visted 3 or 4 art galleries in the UK so far.
♥ Have been to France, Belgium, Greece, Cyprus, Italy and Florida.
