OK, so as most of my flist have done their bit of Moffat-bashing, I feel I don't need to. I'm only going to repeat what you guys have so awesomely said, so instead I'm going to big up the awesome people who weren't Moffat.
First, CT. She was completely underused in this 2-parter, but she was still a STAR. I couldn't stop "aww"-ing at her as a mother - Donna was so perfect! I know she doesn't want that, and wants to be with the Doctor forever, but it was so lovely seeing her happy.
AND HER PERFECT GUY BETTER APPEAR SOMEWHERE ELSE! BECAUSE THAT'S NOT EVEN FAIR!
But yes, CT is always awesome, but she showed yet another side of her awesome-ness these 2 weeks, and she was the reason I loved these episodes.
LMAO at the handcuffs. Doctor and handcuffs? Yeah, sure. *snorts* That made me laugh.
The girl who played Miss Evangelista did brilliantly as well though. I'm not even going into the whole smart/ugly beautiful/stupid crap, but the she did do really well with what she was given I think.
The little girl - also a star. Child actresses can be a bit crap sometimes, but I think she was great.
Anything else?
Oh yeah, WTF WAS WITH ALL THE ROSE'S THEME THING?! I know this is a moan, but srs, it's ROSE'S theme. Bleh.
And also, no arc mentions.
But yes, these were the good bits. And the oneliners. The rest I won't comment on.
Yay for RTD onwards!!
And it's the Rose trailer next week! *squee*
