I feel my icon is very appropriate... it is how I hope I will look like in a couple of months time.
So, I need money. Which means I need a job. My town is small and lame and Saturday jobs are few and far between. Fun ones are almost non-existent. BUT GUESS WHAT?!
A job at WATERSTONES, no less, has come up! My FAVOURITE book store! Books! A job with BOOKS! It's kinda competitive though, so I don't know if i'll get it.
Srs though. I love books. I read, and read, and read. And when i'm not reading i'm writing. I was a finalist in a competition for writing a year ago, and I got an A* in my English Language c/w! Books are what I love, so HOW do I get this job?!
Advice please! What should I say in my CV and covering letter and stuff? My mum's great with stuff like this - she worked in Human Resources - but I figure my f'list will know something about Saturday jobs. Maybe??
I had my German Reading/Writing GCSE today, and it went a lot better than expected. I KNEW stuff. I big thank you to
hippiebanana132, because she texted me in German a month or so ago, and one of the words (that I didn't know before then) came up in my test! So I gained an extra mark that would otherwise have been lost! Yay for Rach! (Special yays if this is the mark that gets me from a B to an A).
So, all in all, I am quite happy. And I hope to become a shopgirl, a la both Anya and Rose, in the near future.
