I want your love, I want your lovers revenge, you and me could write a bad romance

I've decided to use the massive amounts of time I will have this summer scouring charity shops and vintage markets (I <3 you proximity to London). I am the worst person in the world to attempt to dress myself, as I never know what I like, so I'm scouring the interweb for inpsiration.

GIs GIs GIs!!!!

I found this awesome website run by the Met Museum which has a little arcive of forties clothing.

I LOVE the cut of this jacket so much, and the bright red vs brassy buttons.

I LOVE THESE SHOES SO MUCH!!! They are literally one of the most gorgeous pairs of shoes I've ever seen. the kind I wqould pay a fortune for and keep forever. I loooove them, the bow and the colour and the heel and EEE. Gorgey.

I, as usual, had to venture over to Topshop (I wish I wasn't so predictable, but I don't like any other high street stores and I can't afford anything other than that or M&S. How do those teen bloggers with budgets similar to mine afford Chanel pumps?!)

I love these shorts. I may seriously buy them when I get my allowance next week.

I also have a massive obsession with stuff thats tight, red and with polka dots.

I'll have to post in the summer with what I actually managed to find :D

I read this really awesome article by Tavi Gevinson about what she does when she's suffering from a lack of inspiration, which I pretty much permamently have with my clothes. It's comforting to know that someone as creativer with her clothes as her (my creativity is usually spent on imagining up bizarre stories) suffers from the rut that is most of my life with clothes.

She also wrote about a really, sick, pervy man, Terry Richardson. Some of his photos are horribly misogynistic as it is (and IMO gross, but then I'm just not into that kind of art) but there have been all these reports about allegations from models over his disgusting, unproffessional treatment of them. Tavi knows more and therefore writes about it much better than I can, but it's SO important to spread the word about this kind of treatment, which should NOT go on, not just because it's antii-feminist but because HUMANS should not be treated this way, and humans should not be allowed to treat other people this way, just because of their power.

I feel like I should have something more to say, but exams are draining my brain. I HATE THEM SO SO SO SO SO MUCH. Only one month to go...
