Hahaha, yeah I saw that ages ago, I just don't dislike them enough to join.

I love that she vehemently supports it even when she's stinking rich. She is quite fab.

Speaking of JKR: does anybody else see the Hogwarts Houses in all this? Gryffindor/Labour, Ravenclaw/Conservative, Hufflepuff/LibDem, and I guess Slytherin would be.. the BNP? :'D

I suppose you could always make Slytherin the Green Party, but it does seem a little incongruous.

I was just basing it on the BNP being all about white power, like Slytherin is about blood purity. As for the others, besides the fact that (ironically) all the colours match up (or perhaps not so ironic, from JKR's point of view?) the ideals are kind of the same too: Conservatives are, for the most part, pretty smart, but tend to have a bit of a snobby streak; Liberal Democrats are more caring, but are perhaps sometimes underestimated with regards to their ability to step up and claim authority confidently enough to run a country; Labour could be considered chivalrous (or certainly ambitious, at least..) with their belief in working together to reap better results, redistribution of wealth and such, but can get a little cocky and overconfident in the driver's seat.
