URGH HORROR. o.O I try to be open-minded about all genres of book or film, but real, 18-rated horror is something I've never been quite able to stomach.

I have done the exact same thing! I was at a sleepover and I specifically asked (nicely) if they wouldn't watch a horror film because I really couldn't take it, but they watched one anyway. So I went and sat elsewhere with a book too! XD

I just do NOT get a kick out of being scared, and do not see amusement value in huge gross massacres. I think those real, old-fashioned horror movies that aren't actually that scary I could do, because they're so OLD and I love old movies; like, siitng watching them with popcorn and your friends. But not if they were too scary. I hate being scared.

LMAO go you! I said I was just going to get a book, then sat reading until they'd finished XD

Hah, this is what LJ is good for - FINDING LIKE-MINDED PEOPLE. *beams* ♥

I hate being scared too. :/ I'm usually okay with scary films at the time, but then a few hours later when I'm trying to sleep my mind just goes haywire so I try to avoid them all completely. XD

And hee, Happy Birthday for tomorrow! ;)

Hahaha I'm fine as long as it's not late at night. It doesn't seem that scary watching it but it makes your imagination go WILD.

Also, I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
