Yeah! Cloud. We've been together for forever.

I just got her back, though the mail system. She showed up at my house.

Well, no. I got a package in the mail, and when I opened it up, this picture of Cloud fell out.

So when I picked that up...she just kind of appeared. So I suppose you could say I got her in the mail, but it wasn't really like that.

Basically so. I've never understood the mail system here- at home, we had couriers deliver everything, or pages if it was in the castle.

Well yeah, but it wasn't mine in the least. I worked for King Jonathan and Queen Thayet, as a mage and with the horses.

What does that entail? Talking to animals?

And shapeshifting, and being able to heal animals.

It is fun. I always think it's a fair bit more practical than the regular Gift, which is all for humans and not for animals at all.

If I need to light a fire, I don't need magic. I can do it myself. But I want to heal an animal, I've got to have magic to do it properly.
