I feel for you. There are times where I'm really excited about showing my mom a story I worked really hard on, but half-way through I remember that there's yaoi in it (nothing graphic, but I don't think my mom appreciates it too much ^_^U)

My mother never had any interest in my stories, but I could occasionally get some appreciation for visually appealing art. I haven't shown her of my graphic porn, though (until that unintentional glance last night. XD) but I imagine she'd take it in stride, although perhaps not appreciate it as much as my other stuff. XD
