What's your SE fanbase pet peeve?

I was thinking this week a bit about how I've been in Soul Eater fandom for a little more than two years now. It really has some serious staying power for me! And that's partly because I love the fandom. I don't think I could ever ragequit SE simply because talking about the series with other fans is too much fun.

That would not shock me in the least. Kid is like, the only character who hasn't really shown a preference out of all the other characters. Heck, even Crona got all blushy in the beginning with Maka. Granted, Ohkubo seems to avoid developing his character at all cost...soo...I blame him lol.

I don't think Kidd will ever pair up with anyone, honestly. It's a shounen manga and it focuses on the power of friendship, mostly.

I have a pal who has a crack theory that Kidd might be gay in canon. Not for shipping preferences, but because of the fact that he has no apparent attraction towards woman, if you count the time he saw Blair naked without blushing or nose bleeding and he groped Liz and Patti for only the purpose of criticizing their asymmetry.

She also says that a man and a woman together is asymmetrical.

Teehee I can respect people's crack theories.

But what about the blantantly asymetrical Liz and Patty bandage bondage? His OCD wasn't triggered then but oh boy did he react.

Saw panties and boobs and had to remove himself from the situation. Plus the hugest blush I've ever seen. XDD

XD I remember the bondage. God I was cracking up for hours remembering his reaction.

I just brought up Blair being naked since it was full-on nudity and not just panties and boobs. XD

About the Blair scene, I wouldn't pin sexuality to a boy just for not reacting the way that Soul did.

I'm sorry, I got a little confused between the two conversations I was having. I do entertain the most fun bizarre crack but I can be a little too stiff about my canon. ^^;;

It's quite alright. I can get that way too, and when I do, I tell myself that's it's all good fun and that there's no logical reason that people should be arguing over this kind of thing.

Definitely not impossible lol. Though this can ALL be blamed on Ohkubo for his lack of development for Kid. Until he actually puts that kind of detail into the manga, it's all up for grabs lol.

But just as shonen manga are not know for their romance, they're also not known for homosexual characters. (with exceptions of course.)

But you can probably bet that Ohkubo sets up his main male male characters has hetro as per the norm of shonen genre.
I don't see alot of room for interpretation. As I see Kid just acts extremely metro.
