It was nice, if a bit disconcerting. I couldn't imagine being w/o LJ for, like, a long time, though.

It's interesting, that quote about the secret. My favorite psych professor (who believed that in her career she met at least four mediums among the hundreds of schizophrenics she treated, and used Lord of the Rings to teach Jung) said that people who've had too much therapy, who are known too well and speak too freely, are pasteurized. They no longer have any rough parts to catch on other human beings.

Well, they certainly are well-rehearsed, if nothing else. :)

But, yes. It's an interesting idea, that secrets are necessary and healthy, and it's disturbing to me to think that my default is "guilty" or "dark" when I think the word "secret."
