Long ass day. That would be 2 patients in the process of dying and 1 schizophrenic for my shift tally. I'm telling you, the schizophrenic guy was the easy one for me. Verbally abusive, but in the middle of his rants about how nurses suck, he's helping me change the bed linens, holding the door so I can take out the meal trays, and finishing each rant with "okay then! Thank you!" So, really, not so much abusive as... pissy. And I am so down with that shit, I can't even express.
