Tis the season ^^
It seems the spirit of the season has smiled down upon me and granted me a minor 'miracle' (lets really stress the minor part...). Sooo.. there was talk of going to my bestfriends house tonight, cracking open a bottle of Crown Royal, and just chilling and relaxing. I didn't want to not contribute anything so I decided to stop and pick up annother bottle of Crown Royal so that we were not just drinking his down to nothing.
While I was there, is saw a bottle of Barenjager (Honey Liqoure) again - i had seen one earlyer this month but didnt buy it because there seems to be only one size, and it is nearly $25 a bottle. I got a $37 pay check yesturday that I didn't have factored into my budget so I figured, "hell, why not?" and grabbed a bottle of it as well as crown royal. Now, you know how Crown Royal comes in a bag, which has no barcode to scan, so they usualy punch in a item number on the cash register... The cashier did this but must have put the number in wrong or something. When I got home and went to record it into my check book i grabbed the recipte to see how much the total came to and was surprised.. it was alot less than I had expected, just under $25... First thought was that the Barenjager must have been half off and I had not noticed.. so I glance up at the item list to see - Barenjager is there at the qouted price, however Crown Royal is no where to be seen... Out some some fluke of luck, one that if I had noticed at the store I would have pointed it out and paid for, but since I did not notice till I got home, It seems I have a free bottle of Crown Royal ^^ as I said, we are going to stress the minorness of the miracle, hehe.
Oh! on a side note, I /finally/ got the mini crown royal bag - the Liqour store at JM plaza in Hazel Dell has some, although they are out of mini Crown Royal bottles... I got a free one of those too, but they actually gave that one to me with the intention of it being free, heh.
