TRANSFORMERS IMAX
OK, I consider this a public service which simply must be shared. Transformers in IMAX. GO SEE IT!!! Do it!! If you have access to an IMAX theatre, there is no valid excuse. You must see this movie on an IMAX screen. The extra money is absolutely worth every single penny.
First of all, the picture. Absolutely steller. And huge. I picked out details I never could have seen on a regular screen. And some of it is filmed with an IMAX camera so the picture expands to fill the entire screen. Absolutely amazing looking. Crystal clear and just amazing. And there is extra footage!! I spotted it easily, but then again this is my sixth viewing. More fighting scenes, nothing huge. Just a couple minutes but it sure made me happy.
The sound. Dear God, the sound. Sound is awe inspiring. For those of you with a serious crush on Optimus Prime, be warned. Prime's voice vibrates right through you. All of the Transformer's voices do, but Primes is the first one you hear and trust me, you remember throughout the entire movie. If for no other reason, go see this just to hear Optimus Prime rattle the seat beneath you. cazcatharsis this is for you! I pray to Primus you can get to an IMAX screen.
