(no subject)
I have been LJ-MIA for a while, but I have been trying to catch up on my friends list and I want to get back into it with TV restarting soon. I am so, so excited for Heroes returning. :D
I never got around to posting my thoughts on DH or Eclipse. Ah well. Anyway, I watched the Gossip Girl pilot, so I guess I will start with that.
I read one of the books a few years ago, but it wasn't even the first one, so I had no idea what was going on, and I wasn't even going to watch the pilot because I'm generally not into those kind of shows and especially because it's at the same time as Private Practice, but I was so anxious for TV to come back and it was the only thing starting last week that I was mildly interested in, so I ended up watching it and I actually really liked it, so I think I might have to record it every week...
From the pilot, I *love* Dan. I have a feeling he will be my favorite character. I did really like him with Serena, although I think I remember from the book I read, I liked him with Vanessa and I didn't really like him with Serena, so I guess I'll see how I end up liking it on the show. Jenny was really cute and I liked her relationship with Dan. I think I preferred Serena to Blair in the pilot, but I also think it was really more set up from her POV and it seems a lot of the book fans really like Blair and I can see potential for me liking her, so I don't really know which I will prefer yet.
