well, today i tried calling that number again that human resources gave to me. you know, the one i kept calling and every time i tried it was saying, "the number you have dialed is currently being checked for trouble"? yeah. so, i tried again and it still wouldn't let me through. *grumble* so i called up the community bank in halifax and told them what was going on, and the lady i spoke to asked what number i had. i told her and she said, "oh, no! you have the first two digits turned around.". SHIT. so i tried again, AND, of course, i got through this time. so, i told the woman why i was calling and she said unfortunately, the positions at the halifax bank are already taken. :(
BUT, she said there is a part-time position available at the community bank in elizabethville (about 15 minutes from me). so i hurried and got ready and left. i filled out an application, and as i was handing it over the woman said she would go see if the office manager could speak with me while i was there. yayness! so i had an interview right there. she seemed very nice; i have a good feeling about this. she said she has two more interviews tomorrow and friday, but she will definitely let me know ASAP. she asked if i had any problems with working only part-time and i said no, i didn't, because if somewhere down the road a full-time position would become available, i'm sure i would have a much better chance at getting it than someone else with no experience. she seemed very pleased with that answer. :D
