Arras: Les Places
La Grand’ Place - my hotel was the 15C house with the crow-stepped gable.
The Café Brussels - where I had excellent andouillette d’Arras flavoured with juniper.
These are of the Place des Héros, formerly the Petite Place, with the Hôtel de Ville - a marvellous restoration, considering how the various Battles of Arras wrecked it 100 years ago.
