Shel had to have a C-section. She's doing fine. Karleigh is pink and perfect. I am in love.
We had to leave the hospital at 9, so you can bet your ass I'm taking a personal day tomorrow and not going into work. AIU wants me to come back Tuesday (my second interview today went well I think), so I might just take Monday and Tuesday also to be with Shel and Karleigh while Shel heals. We'll see. I need Tuesday off anyway to get to my interview, so we'll just see the way things go this week.
I bought the cutest little chenille elephant at the hospital gift store. I think I'm going to keep it and put my "I'm a New Aunt" button on it. It's as soft as Karleigh's little leg. She's just exquisite. And a screamer. Boy, she's got good lungs.
I could honestly care less about work right now, I have a niece! Life is good. Tonight, life is very very good.
