Argh!
So a few days ago I decided that I had sit on a story enough, and it was time to send it out. Since I have submitted a whole lot of nothing since 2012, I had to go and remind myself the specifics of standard manuscript formatting.
So far so good.
What I hadn't aken into account, though, was the fact that I no longer have MS word on this laptop, so the work had to be done with OpenOffice.
And here comes the ARGH!
I coundn't find ANYTHING. Margins, paragraphs, changes from italics to underline, everything was in some odd place that made no sense. I think I finally made it -work that would otherwise take me 5-10 mins tops- in well over an hour, after googling every little thing and snapping at both my bf and the cat.
I miss my old PC So.Very.Much.
So far so good.
