I write in pretty much the same vein as I read; gen, canonical, missing scenes and one-shots abound, with the occasional bouts of madness, where I've written something just to see if I could.
As far as ratings / warnings are concerned, I rarely go above a PG-13, I occasionally slash, I occasionally het and I occasionally kill characters and I don't warn about it. You may find occasionally themes relating to depression. Any violence is in keeping in the tone of the show, and errs on the mild side rather than gory. I can't anticipate any situation where I ever would write a story featuring non/dub consent, particularly in a sexual context, but if I ever do, I absolutely will warn about such content.
If you're ever concerned that you might find a particular fic triggering, I am more than happy to answer questions on content, just IM me :)
I don't cross-post much these days, but where I do, I follow the guidelines of that particular site / community. My fics have disclaimers, headers and that's about it.
Stories are categorised by fandom and listed in the order in which they were written. See also
my fic tag for a more precise chronology. Alternatively, I'm also in the process of moving fics over to
Archive of our Own.
Supernatural
Never to be Told; Or, Five secrets Dean Winchester keeps from his little brother (and one secret Sam keeps from him) Does exactly what it says on the tin. Angst, general foreboding.
CobwebsMissing scene / musing on Hunted.
More Ocean Than Firm LandTwenty words inspired twenty linking moments back and forth through the Winchesters lives. If I never write fanfic again, I'll always be glad I wrote this.
More Things In Heaven and EarthCrossover with Doctor Who (Ten & Rose), set after The Christmas Invasion (Doctor Who) and 1.16 Shadow (Supernatural). A long one shot, originally intended to be funny that somehow became the most angstastic story I've ever written. All the best protagonists have daddy issues.
Conversations With Dead PeopleEpisode tag / missing scene for 4.01 Lazarus Rising. (Gen, Winchester not!chickflick moment)
Doctor Who and Torchwood
You This Way, We That WayIanto / Jack episode coda to 1.04, Cyberwoman. One shot. (Gen, moderate emo)
The Shopkeeper's TaleBlink centred one-shot, featuring four Things and a lizard. (Gen, humour)
More Things In Heaven and EarthCrossover with Supernatural, set after The Christmas Invasion (Ten and Rose) and 1.16 Shadow (Supernatural). A long one shot, originally intended to be funny that somehow became the most angstastic story I've ever written. All the best protagonists have daddy issues.
Courage and PluckOne-shot crossover with Angel. In which the Doctor seeks Martha's help after an unfortunate incident in Los Angeles. (Crack!fluff)
Home147 word "drabble" written for
lifeonmartha's
1000 Drabbles of Awesome. The Doctor finds new fascination in the TARDIS (Post Human Nature / Family of Blood).
Of All The Cargo Bays In All The 'VerseOne-shot crossover written for the
Self-Imposed Crossover Fic Challenge. Captain Jack Harkness finds himself on the good ship Serenity.
AtonementSomeone who shouldn't be is haunted by memories of The Year That Never Was. (Gen, short ficlet, general post-season three / Torchwood: Reset 2.06).
Point Me To The SkiesGetting the Doctor to open up on New Earth answered many qustions for Martha and left the Doctor with some of his own. (Gen, one-shot, post 3.03: Gridlocked).
Band of Buggered, Or; The Team Least Likely ToFive people who never worked for Torchwood Three. And for very good reason. (PG-13, Gen. Crossover crack!fic. Torchwood season two, pre-Children of Earth.)
The West Wing
Acta Non Verba“What really blows me away, is that our current predicament will now be considered news."
Annabeth and President Bartlet spend some unscheduled quality time together. (Gen, one-shot, full series spoilers, set days before the final episode)
Semper FideliusThe West Wing. If the characters were in a high school marching band and had been watching a lot of Dawson's Creek. I'm not sure how you spoiler-rate a College Band AU, but let's just say it's loosely based off events in series 6 and a comment made by Donna in series 2 and hope for the best.
Psych
Do You Remember The First Time?In which Shawn does not get a personal CD player for his birthday. (Gen, one-shot, pre-series).
Heroes
Ten Songs To The Same Theme.
Ten character driven ficlets, with ten sequential musical inspirations. (Gen, season 2 non-specific spoilers, characters old and new).
Veronica Mars
The FoundlingOne shot of Logan introspection written and set somewhere towards the end of season two. (Logan/Veronica).
Brave New WorldOne-shot crack!crossover of extreme proportions written for the
Self-Imposed Crossover Fic Challenge. Eli and Ryan can remember a life outside of this one, but on a good day, they don't always miss it. (Eli "Weevil" Nevarro & Ryan Atwood, Veronica Mars / The O.C.)
The O.C.
The fandom that kick started my fanfiction revival . Prior to this I hadn't written much prose outside of the classroom, so it's a little wobbly (i.e. trite) in places. Some fics can be found on ff.net, some on Live Journal and some on both, depending on my level of patience at the time of posting.
Most stories lean towards to the canonical, gen/angst Cohens + 1 end of the spectrum and are one-shots and completed unless otherwise stated.
Bad EducationAn alternate take on The Homecoming; what would have happened if Ryan hadn't run fast enough from the guys at the car chop shop. Unashamed hurt/comfort multi-chapter story. There's an awful lot about this story I'd change, but it serves its purpose. (Only on Fanfiction.net).
What Days Are ForWhen Ryan and Kirsten find themselves stuck in an elevator at the Newport Group, they stop talking and start communicating. Set pre The Countdown, season one.
Brief EncounterMissing scene fic, set during the pilot. Sandy tells Seth about Ryan. Written for the first OC Missing Scene Challenge (OCMSFC).
Simple GiftsMissing scene, from The Best Chrismukkah Ever, also for the first OCMSC. Ryan opens his Chrismukkah gifts from Dawn and Trey.
Holding PatternWhen implied slash becomes plied. The compulsory, what if Seth and Ryan were Seth/Ryan fic and the moment it happens.
Night Falls FastAfter the events of The Outsider, Ryan sleeplessly considers the implications on his future with the Cohens. Seth and Ryan friendship.
A Problem Shared Is A Problem DoubledMarissa and Seth find an unexpected and awkward common ground in the aftermath of Ryan's attack on Oliver. Drabble.
Move OnSeason one hiatus fic; Ryan's in Chino, Seth's gone travelling and Kirsten's had just about enough from both of them. A six part multi-chapter fic that ran away with me, then left me behind. It's not completed, but it is concluded. There's an awful lot of talking in this story by everybody except Seth, which may not be totally in keeping with the spirit of the show, but is probably why I like it.

The Worst Chrismukkah EverRyan's homesick, Seth's just sick and Sandy and Kirsten are determined to look after them both. Multi-chapter, set around the second Cohen Chrismukkah, but not canon.

The RestingFollowing the traumatic events with Trey, the Cohens, Ryan and their friends finally find the place they been looking for. Probably my favourite O.C. story that I've written, set between seasons two and three and written for The O.C. Sentence Fic Challenge (OCSFC).
I Used To Be An Optimist, But I'm Not AnymoreA series of drabbles, around the theme of change.
Hip and HypocrisyIn which the Nana returns and gets some. Written for the second OCMSC, not my best effort, although I'm quite fond of the title.
The Long Way RoundSummer, Ryan and the other path. Drabble.
UtterAfter the losses of season three, Ryan tries to build bridges with his biological family. Written for the third OCSFC.
Bitter / SweetRyan and Theresa may have drifted apart, but there are still things that will always bring them back together. Post series-finale, friendship piece.
Room On My Horse For TwoA teeny, tiny Seth-Ryan friendship drabble.
The Beat That My Heart SkippedWho knew when the lame lame season three began that one day I'd be writing Ryan/Taylor having French phone sex, and it would be canon?!
Ways of Seeing, Or; The Once and Future CohenWritten for
60schic prompt for The O.C. Dialogue Challenge 2007, "How can one person make such an unbelievable mess?" in a style not 100% dissimilar to William Goldman's novel The Princess Bride, though a lot less brilliant. Gen, humour, post series.
Fairground Rides and CockleshellsTwo roads of Ryan's future diverged the day he called Sandy from Chino; this time, Ryan walks the other one, with repercussions for all. Gen, AU from pilot, season one. Multi-chapter, work-in-progress (started Aug 2008).
Chapter Index:

Five Places Ryan Atwood Never Had Sex (or maybe he did)Pretty much what you would expect from the title. (Gen, smut-lite, all seasons.)
East Coast, West CoastA calendar year in the life of Seth and Ryan and their loved ones, set just after season 4 when everyone is scattered across country and further afield. (Gen, one-shot, friendship piece.)
PerspectiveWhen Rosa finds a switchblade in the pool-house, the inevitable awkward conversation is indeed inevitably awkward. Written for the fifth (fifth!) OCSFC. (Gen, one-shot, Cohens + 1, season one).
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Corridors of Power"...Excerpts from Minutes from Sunnydale Senior Staff Meeting, Tuesday May 18th 1999..." (Gen, end of season three, pre Graduation)
Multi Fandom / Crossovers
SometimesA series of multi-fandom drabbles, distinct from one another but built around the collective theme of possibility and the road not taken. (Veronica Mars, The O.C., Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Mass ObservationAnother series of multi-fandom drabbles, this time diary entries in the style of Bridget Jones. It's crack!, but only half baked. The bad German is entirely my own fault. Ich stink. (The Usual Suspects, House, E.R., Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, The O.C.)
