Like a self-fulfilling prophesy or somesuch, LJ ate the beautiful entry linking this to my thoughts about Deadpool in this journal over previous years.
TL;DR I love Deadpool, previous things enraged me, I read an interview many years ago with Ryan Reynolds and gave him my blessing to Do Good on this.
He did good.
This was a damn fine adaptation on various comic material, in a way that felt true to the spirit of the thing. Perfect? No, but they still had to make it vagely understandable and palateable to someone who doesn't know what kind of crazy they're walking into.
